Ms. Mattes specializes in recruiting for Manager-level positions and above, in all functional areas including General Management, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Human Resources, Legal and MIS. Her experience covers many industries, including high technology (internet, networking, telecommunications, semiconductor, semiconductor capital equipment, computer hardware, peripherals, computer software, medical instrumentation); biotechnology; entertainment; banking; consumer products; retail; and healthcare.
During 1986-1987, Ms. Mattes was Director of Research for Michael Parsells&Associates, Inc., a premier regional executive search firm specializing in senior-level high technology searches.
Prior to joining Michael Parsells & Associates, Ms. Mattes was a Research Associate at Korn/Ferry International, the world's largest executive search firm. Based in the Palo Alto office of Korn/Ferry, Ms. Mattes provided research for the entire North West Region, which included offices specializing in recruitment for the High Technology, Health Care, Education, Finance, Consumer Goods and Retail industries.
Ms. Mattes graduated in 1979 from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California, with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
